My Intention
Villa Kanto is my heartfelt tribute to childhood joy and cultural roots. I created it to share my love of anime, honor my Balinese heritage, and offer a one-of-a-kind escape where guests reconnect with wonder, nature, and themselves.
Why Villa Kanto?
Villa Kanto is the only anime-themed homestay in Bali — a fully immersive retreat inspired by iconic series like Pokémon, One Piece, Demon Slayer, and Yu-Gi-Oh! It’s perfect for families, couples, and nostalgic fans who crave something truly different.
Your Vacation
Each day begins with birdsong and a breathtaking view of Mount Agung. Swim in your private pool, explore rice fields, or head to the beach just minutes away. Evenings are for local dinners, rooftop stargazing, or cozying up with classic anime.
Extras
Guests enjoy chilled drinks, snacks, and fruit on arrival, plus food delivery options throughout their stay. Rental bikes, private drivers, and even massages can be arranged with ease — all tailored to your wishes.

It was nice to get to know authentic Bali. Villa Kanto is beautifully situated in nature, but there are also restaurants nearby. I had everything I needed for a great vacation.

About the host
Hi, I’m Nicolas Gusde — half Balinese, half German, and born here in Bali. I created Villa Kanto to combine my love for anime with my cultural roots. After seeing themed homes around the world, I wanted to bring that magic here in a way no one else had. I love introducing guests to real Balinese life — and seeing them leave with glowing smiles and childhood joy in their hearts.
